About BullyDB
BullyDB was created and started by Ridgeon Network (right). Ridgeon Network's founder, Chris Ridgeon experienced what it was like to be bullied first-hand throughout his time at secondary school. For this reason, BullyDB is a project near to the heart of Ridgeon Network and has been started as a non-profit venture. In September 2007, CyberBullying was again announced to be causing a huge amount of suffering to many innocent Internet users. Ridgeon Network tried to think of ways they could help people being bullied online and came up with the concept of BullyDB, the online Bully and Internet Abuser database. The idea behind BullyDB is to provide a service to Internet users of all ages. Our service allows the visitor to anonymously check if someone trying to contact them has already been reported as being a cyber-bully, even before they 'allow' or 'add' a person to their Instant Messenger program, Chat room or networking website. If innocent Internet users experience bullying online, they can submit their case to the BullyDB database where other users will be able to instantly check if this user tries to talk to them.
